Having a very active almost 3 year old, I’m always looking for toys that will help use her energy while having fun. I was very excited to learn about the PlasmaCar. It’s an awesome kid-powered car that will keep them busy and happy for hours. The PlasmaCar has won MANY different awards over the years, some of those awards include #1 Top Spring and Summer Kids Essentials by disneyfamily.com (2009); National Parenting Center, Seal of Approval (2009); TIA (Toy Industry Association) Toy of the Year Nomination in the following two categories: Outdoor Toy of the Year and Specialty Toy of the Year (2006); Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, Platinum Award (2006), and MANY more.
One of the main features I loved is there are no peddles. My daughter has tried tricycles and other bike type toys with no luck. She doesn’t understand the concept of peddles yet. So that’s one thing that made me really want to give it a try. When the PlasmaCar arrived it did take a little assembly to get it ready to play. The directions are easy to follow and provide you with everything you need to safely assemble it.
My daughter became more and more excited as the PlasmaCar was being assembled. She couldn’t wait for us to finish the assembly process so she could hop on and try it out. As soon as it was finished she had us put it in the kitchen so she could start enjoying it. I couldn’t believe how quickly she could start moving and using the PlasmaCar.
Once she got the hang of the PlasmaCar she wanted to go out with it. After asking a few times we gave in and helped her take it out. She couldn’t wait to get it placed on the concrete and off she went. This is an awesome product and one that kids really love and enjoy. I was impressed by the great design, style, and more. The car itself is nicely made and feels like it will last. Overall, I am very impressed and can see how it has won so many different awards. You never have to worry about batteries, whether it’s charged, or if they can peddle. This awesome toy does it all.
The PlasmaCar is designed for children 3 and up, and can handle up to 220 pounds. Use the Store Locator to find a store near you that carries the PlasmaCar. This would make an awesome gift for any child on your shopping list with Christmas just around the corner. It for $64.95, but you can buy one on Amazon as low as $42.94 depending on the color.
